Dr. Jeff

Dr. Jeff was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech University and attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for medical school. He completed his residency at Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio. He received his board certification in Family Medicine in 2008 from the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Jeff specializes in Male and Female Health and Wellness and Family Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Owen is a Platinum Provider for BioTE (Natural Bio-Identical Hormone Optimization). He is certified to perform Botox, Dysport, cosmetic fillers, cosmetic procedures, cosmetic laser, and the P-Shot or Priapus Shot. Dr. Owen also has a special interest in Regenerative Medicine via stem cell therapy and PRP (platelet-rich plasma). For over ten years, Dr. Jeff has traveled to Snyder, Texas to run a dermatology clinic. Dr. Jeff can address all skincare needs including acne, skin disorders, and skin cancer.

Dr. Jeff has been an avid pilot for over 20 years and has a jet type rating, instrument rating, commercial rating, multi engine rating, and private pilot license. He is a senior FAA aviation medical examiner and performs first, second, and third-class FAA flight examinations. He is the only physician in Lubbock, Texas, who is certified to perform FAA air traffic controller and FAA flight safety examiner physicals.

Dr. Jenn

Dr. Jenn was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated from Texas Tech University and attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for medical school. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and in 2008 she received her board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Jenn had the privilege of delivering babies for 12 1/2 years in private practice. She now specializes in Gynecology, Female Health and Wellness, and Female Sexual Health. She is committed to focusing on the needs of women in West Texas and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Jenn was the first physician in this area to offer Votiva, a non-surgical and non-hormonal option to treat a variety of female issues. She recently also became the first physician in this area to offer Aviva (AccuTite) as a minimally invasive alternative to female genital plastic surgery. She is also a certified provider of the O-Shot. Dr. Jenn is passionate about bringing the newest treatment options to her patients as they face a variety of female issues throughout their lives.

Wendy

Wendy Wilcox joins Owen Health Group to offer same & next-day appointments for your health care needs. Wendy Wilcox is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Additionally, Wendy is a certified BioTE provider. She grew up in Nazareth, Texas, population 311. Wendy graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013.

Wendy's nursing career began in 2007 in the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at University Medical Center in Lubbock. For ten years, she built a strong foundation of knowledge allowing her the opportunity to joining the Neonatal Transport team in collaboration with AeroCare. During this time, she also spent a year as a clinical preceptor for South Plains College on the orthopedics floor. Wendy then moved on to work for University Medical Center Home Health where she became knowledgeable in wound care and empowering patients in their healthcare journey. Wendy graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2018.

Wendy is married with four children. She is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time at sporting events with her family and friends as well as shopping. Her favorite part of being a family nurse practitioner is being able to provide education to patients regarding their health and including them in their treatment plan of care.

Brittany

Brittney Bailey is a Physician Assistant certified by the National
Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She was raised in Shallowater, Texas, and calls Lubbock her home. Brittney graduated from Texas A&M University, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science of Psychology in 2013. She then attended PA school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where she graduated at the top of her class in 2016. Brittney began her career as a PA in Family Medicine and Urgent Care for UMC Physicians of Lubbock, where she worked for three years. During her time there, she developed a love for women’s health and wellness and would frequently see women for annual exams and screening. Brittney joined our team August 2019 and has been committed to focusing in the areas of Gynecology, Female Health and Wellness, and Female Sexual Health. She is also a certified provider for Nexplanon insertion, performing Botox, Dysport, and cosmetic fillers, and is now trained in offering Votiva vaginal rejuvenation treatments. Brittney is married with two children. She loves to run, spend time outside with her family and friends, cook, and camp. Her favorite parts of being a Physician Assistant are empowering her patients with health education and connecting with them on a personal, emotional, and spiritual level.
